Position Overview

As a Camp Instructor at Camp Fire Central Texas, you'll play a crucial part in creating unforgettable summer experiences for our campers. Responsibilities include leading camp activities, developing engaging curriculum, communicating with campers, and fostering a positive and inclusive environment. This part-time, on-site role is located in beautiful Austin, TX.

Qualifications

We're looking for candidates with a passion for outdoor education, strong communication skills, and experience working with children. A background in education or related fields is preferred, along with the ability to create a safe and supportive camp environment. First Aid/CPR certification is required.

Are you passionate about working with young people and creating meaningful afterschool experiences through outdoor and skill-based learning? Camp Fire Central Texas is seeking enthusiastic, dependable individuals to support our Afterschool Archery Club programs in Austin.

Afterschool Archery Instructors play an important role in creating a welcoming, inclusive environment where elementary-aged students can build confidence, learn new skills, and safely engage in archery activities. This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy teaching, mentoring, and working hands-on with youth in a structured afterschool setting.

Position Overview

Afterschool Archery Instructors support youth development through structured archery programming that emphasizes safety, engagement, and positive skill building. Instructors work directly with students during afterschool hours and collaborate with program staff to ensure consistent, high-quality programming.

This is a part-time, seasonal, in-person role based in Austin, TX.
